Coppell is a quiet, mostly residential suburb on the doorstep of one of the world’s busiest airports. Its Old Town, large central park, and location between Las Colinas and the northern suburbs make it a common choice for commuters and frequent flyers.

Old Town and the parks

Old Town Coppell has shops, restaurants, a pavilion for events, and outdoor sculptures through the city’s Art in the Park program. Andy Brown Park, at about 60 acres, is the city’s largest, and Grapevine Springs Preserve adds trails and a historic springs site.

Next to the airport

DFW International Airport borders Coppell to the west, which is convenient for frequent travelers. Buyers should check flight paths and noise for specific streets, especially on the west side of town.

Getting around

SH 121, I-635, and the Bush Turnpike surround the city. Coppell isn’t a DART member city, but the Silver Line’s Cypress Waters station is just south in Dallas, with service to the airport and to Plano.

School district boundaries

Coppell ISD serves most of the city, but the Riverchase area in easternmost Coppell is in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD and areas north of SH 121 are in Lewisville ISD. Coppell ISD also serves Cypress Waters, which is in the City of Dallas. Confirm the district for every address.

Homes

Most of Coppell is single-family, with many homes in HOA neighborhoods with some townhomes and apartments. Compare homes by school district, age, and updates, since these drive pricing more than small differences in size.
