This notice covers cleverrealtors.com, our website forms, and the emails and calls connected to them. Documents for a specific transaction, such as listing agreements, buyer agreements, and contracts, may have their own terms.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Your real estate needs: whether you’re buying, selling, renting, or leasing; preferred areas; property type; price or rent range; timing; financing plans; and property addresses you share.
• Messages and requests: anything you write in a form, email, or call, including how you prefer to be contacted.
• Appointments: details you provide when you schedule a consultation through our scheduling tool.
• Agents interested in joining us: your experience level and the details you choose to share.
• Open house sign-ins: your name and contact details, your answers about your home search (such as whether you work with an agent, financing, and timing), the property you visited, and whether you chose to receive marketing emails. We share a sign-in with the agent who hosted that open house.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information: such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and approximate location based on IP address.
• Form records: when you submit a form, we store the submission along with the date, time, IP address, and browser information to keep accurate records and prevent spam and abuse.

Information from others

• Referrals from clients, other agents, or partners.
• Property and market information from multiple listing services and public records.

We don’t request Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, bank or credit card numbers, credit reports, or rental application materials through this website. Please don’t send them through our forms.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiries and requests.
• To provide real estate brokerage services and coordinate the steps of a transaction you’re involved in.
• To schedule and confirm appointments.
• To send information you ask for, such as guides or market updates.
• To keep in touch about real estate by email and phone, as described in our Terms of Service. You can opt out at any time.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To measure how our online ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited our website (targeted advertising).
• To protect our website, prevent spam and fraud, and keep accurate records.
• To meet legal, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

Emails, calls, and texts

• Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing doesn’t stop messages about a request you made or a transaction you’re part of.
• Phone calls: tell us during a call, or email info@cleverrealtors.com, and we’ll stop marketing calls to your number.
• Text messages: we text only in one-to-one conversations about your own inquiry or transaction. We don’t send marketing text campaigns. Reply STOP to any text and we’ll stop texting you. Message and data rates may apply.
• We don’t sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive messages with other companies for their marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Our team: Clever Realtors agents and staff who help with your request.
• Service providers: companies that help us operate, such as website hosting and security, email delivery, customer relationship management, workflow automation, team messaging and alerts, appointment scheduling, website analytics, and spam protection. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Advertising platforms: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google receive information about your activity on our website through their cookies and tags, such as the pages you visit and the fact that you submitted a form, along with device and browser identifiers. We don’t send them your name, email address, or phone number. They use this information to measure our ads and to show our ads to you on their platforms, under their own privacy policies.
• People you ask us to involve: for example, a lender you want an introduction to, the other party’s agent, a title company, an inspector, or a property manager, as needed for your transaction.
• Legal and safety reasons: when required by law or legal process, to comply with real estate regulations, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business changes: if our business is merged, sold, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this notice.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

To opt out of advertising cookies on this website, use the cookie banner or the opt-out settings on our Cookie Policy page. You can also manage the ads you see in your Meta account (Ad Preferences) and your Google account (My Ad Center).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can use Google’s browser add-on. Google’s use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our website doesn’t currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this notice, including providing services, keeping in touch if you haven’t opted out, and meeting the recordkeeping requirements that apply to Texas real estate brokers. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to stored form submissions. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through website forms or email.

Your choices and requests

• Marketing: unsubscribe from any email, ask us to stop calling, or reply STOP to a text.
• Targeted advertising: you can opt out of advertising cookies on this website at any time through the cookie banner or the opt-out settings on our Cookie Policy page, or by emailing info@cleverrealtors.com.
• Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may keep information we’re required to retain by law or need for legitimate business records.

Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our website links to other sites, such as lenders, government resources, and video platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
